Arriving at the hotel, I was pleased to find a room that was set to a comfortable 65 degrees, blending Victorian decor with modern comforts. However, some rooms lacked common amenities like extra seating or closets, which was a letdown considering the price. The service restored our experience to perfection with terrific attention to detail, from easy check-in to a beautiful suite overlooking the Adams museum. The location was excellent, transporting me back to the days of booming Deadwood. The dining experience at the co-located Lee St Station Cafe was enjoyable, offering authentic Indian dishes.

Staying at the hotel was like stepping back in time to the 1800s, feeling like kids in a preserved museum exhibit. The Sanderson room with its large king bed was fantastic, cozy, and warm with red walls and antique furniture. The service was unbelievably kind with easy check-in and a fantastic suite room experience. The location was excellent, truly making you feel part of the gold rush era in charming Deadwood. Dining at the on-site Lee St Station Cafe was a treat, with iconic sandwiches. Overall, a memorable and unique stay.
